The Barrel Steak & Seafood House is currently hiring for part time server positions. Minimum of 2 years experience required. Wage Pay range for position: $17.13 to $17.13 per hour Earn tips Responsibilities/Duties Follow all policies and procedures On time and attend all meetings Take orders and payments from customers for food and beverages following all steps of service guidelines Upsell by being proactive with suggestive selling and alerting customers to specials, promotional items and/or events Deliver and announce food and drinks to guests with efficiency, accuracy, and enthusiasm Accommodate and fulfill any special requests for guests Communicate and work with kitchen and bar staff to ensure orders are delivered timely and according to The Barrel Steak & Seafood House standards Correct any issues courteously and quickly Check with customers throughout their meal to ensure that they are enjoying their visit and take action to correct any problems Maintain a working knowledge of all food and drink menu items, promotions, ingredients, and prep time Assist team members with any additional tasks as needed Complete all assigned opening, running, closing duties and side work Follow all health and alcohol beverage service standards and maintain a clean workspace Adhere to food safety, sanitation and safety guidelines Please note, job duties are subject to change at the company’s discretion.
