Women's Sweater Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a self-motivated Women’s Sweater Designer with 5+ years of hands-on sweater design experience . The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of sweater construction, can independently create detailed tech packs, and works well in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

\n
• Design and develop women’s sweaters that reflect current market trends and our brand identity.
\n
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet aesthetic, technical, and production requirements.
\n
• Independently create and maintain complete, accurate tech packs, including measurements, construction details, yarn information, and stitch specifications.
\n
• Communicate directly with overseas factories regarding development, samples, revisions, and production details.
\n
• Review samples and provide clear feedback to achieve the intended design and quality.
\n
• Manage multiple styles and meet development deadlines.
\n

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience specifically in sweater design.
\n
• Strong understanding of yarns, knit stitches, gauges, sweater construction, and garment specifications.
\n
• Ability to independently prepare detailed, production-ready tech packs.
\n
• Experience communicating with overseas factories.
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
\n
• Experience using SharePoint.
\n
• Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
\n
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as a team player.
