Position Overview We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who is passionate about psychotherapy, clinical excellence, and serving diverse communities. The ideal candidate is a warm, thoughtful clinician who values therapeutic relationships and enjoys working with patients from a wide range of cultural, racial, ethnic, religious, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. We welcome clinicians from a variety of therapeutic orientations, including psychodynamic, relational, trauma-informed, CBT, ACT, DBT, and integrative approaches. This position offers the opportunity to join a growing mission-driven practice while maintaining flexibility, autonomy, and a strong focus on patient care. Responsibilities Provide individual psychotherapy to adults via telehealth and/or in-person sessions Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Deliver culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and affirming care Collaborate with psychiatric providers when clinically appropriate Participate in occasional consultation and team meetings Required Qualifications Active New York State LCSW license Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution Experience providing psychotherapy to adults Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and professionalism Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment Preferred Qualifications Experience working with LGBTQ+ communities Experience working with culturally diverse populations Experience treating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, identity-related concerns, OCD, and ADHD Training in psychodynamic, relational, trauma-informed, CBT, ACT, DBT, or integrative therapies Experience or training in couples therapy strongly preferred Experience with family systems work welcomed Experience working with LGBTQ+ relationships, intercultural couples, and nontraditional family structures welcomed Bilingual or multilingual clinicians are strongly encouraged to apply What We Offer W-2 employment Competitive compensation Malpractice insurance provided Insurance credentialing and billing support Referrals provided Flexible scheduling Clinical collaboration with a board-certified psychiatrist Professional development stipend Administrative support Opportunity to help shape a growing, mission-driven practice from an early stage Our Commitment Calamus Care values diversity and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.
