Abbott seeks a field-based Medical Device Sales Representative for its Cardiac Rhythm Management division in Lancaster, PA. The role involves promoting cardiac devices to healthcare providers and facilities within an assigned territory, with responsibility for building client relationships, conducting product education, and managing sales activities.

Responsibilities

• Contact and educate physicians, laboratories, distributors, and hospitals on cardiac products and address concerns
• Develop business plans with management to identify and build new accounts within assigned territory
• Provide training and technical support to medical professionals on product use and applications
• Monitor competitor activities, analyze sales statistics, and prepare required reports
• Attend industry conferences and trade shows to showcase products and network with clients

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent
• Two or more years of sales or clinical support experience in healthcare
• Ability to analyze complex medical device technologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of medical device industry policies and procedures
• Proven ability to influence customer decision-making
• Proficiency with personal computer programs and relevant applications

Compensation: $43,900–$109,200 base
