Duties

Responsibilities include managing medical care for a panel of Veterans enrolled in Primary Care, timely entry and use of the electronic medical record system for documentation, care coordination and pain management for assigned patients, serving as the leader of the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT), cross-covering for other medical providers as needed, working in collaboration with PACT members to ensure the overall safety and quality of each Veteran's care, maintaining licensures and certifications requisite for credentials and privileges at the OKC VAHCS, meeting ethical and professional standards as written in the Medical Staff Bylaws, and ensuring work relations are in compliance with facility standards and expectations.

Driving and travel for Primary Care patient care coverage purposes will be required for this position to clinics throughout the health care system. Driving and travel may be up to 75% of the time.

Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases

Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)
