American Family Dentistry - Mountain Grove is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our team in Knoxville, Tennessee.

 

We are also open to speaking with part-time candidates!

 

We are looking for a hygienist with at least one year of clinical experience who is passionate about patient care and enjoys working in a collaborative, team-focused environment. Our ideal candidate is an honest, compassionate, and respectful professional who is confident in their clinical abilities, values punctuality and reliability, maintains a positive and open mindset, and is motivated to contribute to both team success and patient outcomes. This individual should be goal-oriented, committed to providing exceptional care, and excited to grow with a practice that is focused on rebuilding, continuous improvement, and delivering outstanding patient experiences.

 

Full-Time

• Monday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 6:45 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:45 AM – 2:00 PM

 

Part-time candidates will also be considered.

 

Responsibilities

 

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including preventive and periodontal services.
• Perform patient assessments, charting, and periodontal evaluations.
• Take and review digital radiographs in accordance with state guidelines.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, disease prevention, and recommended treatment plans.
• Partner with doctors and team members to deliver exceptional patient care and create positive patient experiences.
• Identify treatment needs and effectively communicate findings to patients and the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
• Follow infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols.
• Support a productive schedule while maintaining a high standard of clinical care.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented office culture and assist teammates as needed.

 

Qualifications

 

• Active Tennessee Dental Hygienist license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of dental hygiene experience.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and customer service.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Team-oriented attitude with a positive and professional demeanor.
