OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Dearborn, MI by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

From Dearborn, run long-haul dry van routes for HMD Trucking across the continental U.S., delivering freight safely and on schedule. You'll drive late-model tractors with APUs, inverters and sleeper cabs, supported by our in-house maintenance team.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maintain assigned equipment while completing deliveries.
• Comply with DOT and company safety rules; perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Accurately complete logs, electronic paperwork and delivery documentation.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A and minimum 12 months verifiable driving experience.
• Ability to be on the road for OTR schedules; home approximately every two weeks.

Compensation starts at 65 CPM with weekly averages near 2,500 miles plus safety, inspection and referral bonuses, and full benefits.
