Armed Security Officer

Job Description Job Description The Armed Security Officer plays a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of assigned premises by patrolling, assessing risks, and responding to emergencies. This position involves frequent interaction with the public, requiring strong communication and customer service skills. Officers are authorized to use force when necessary and must coordinate promptly with law enforcement. Shifts typically last 8 to 12 hours, with travel required both within and outside the city for site coverage. Responsibilities * Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect security breaches * Conduct risk assessments and maintain vigilance during shifts * Respond effectively to emergencies and incident situations * Prepare detailed and accurate incident and daily activity reports * Provide courteous, professional customer service while interacting with the public Preferred Qualifications * 1+ years of experience in security * High school diploma or equivalent * Valid Concealed Pistol License * CPR and First Aid certification * Strong conflict resolution and observation skills * Effective communication and emergency response abilities * Proficient in report writing * Ability to work well in a team environment
