As a 255-bed, full-service hospital with more than 1,100 employees and 486 physicians on our medical staff, we're one of the largest employers in Denton County. We offer advanced care in robotic and endovascular surgery, general surgery, orthopedics and sports medicine, spine and back services, emergency medicine, and bariatric surgery. Additional services include cancer treatment, critical care, neonatology, cardiac CT imaging, neurology, electrophysiology, stroke care, vascular care, women's and infants' services, interventional radiology, and wound care including hyperbaric treatment. Our four-story Women and Infants Specialty Center features twelve labor and delivery beds, two C-section suites, six antepartum beds, and 23 postpartum beds. We are Denton's only provider of obstetrical and neonatal intensive care and the largest provider of obstetrical services in the City of Denton. The facility's ground floor includes a dedicated breast imaging center, outpatient physical therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, and our internal medicine residency program. Texas Health Denton is a Joint Commission-accredited Advanced Primary Stroke Center, a certified Chest Pain Center, a Comprehensive Heart Attack Center, a Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence, and a Magnet-designated hospital.

Qualifications

Education Bachelor's Degree Nursing required Experience 3 years experience as a registered nurse with previous experience as a charge nurse or similar leadership role (i.e., charge nurse, committee chair, preceptor, supervisor) required. Candidates must have OR experience Licenses and Certifications RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire Skills Knowledge of industry standards, organization, theory, principles, and research processes, quality improvement and change management techniques, financial analysis, budget process and planning, accreditation and regulatory standards, strategic planning principles, ability to assess nursing care requirements based on nursing principles, scope of practice, and regulatory standards.
