Senior Project Manager

What We're Looking For: The Office of Enterprise Initiatives is currently seeking high-performing Project Managers (PM) to manage complex inter-related projects that are part of a larger program. As a Senior Project Manager (PM), you will be responsible for the overall coordination of complex projects to successfully implement ETF strategic goals and initiatives. Responsibilities include management of project timeliness, quality of effort, monitoring scope, budget, resource assignment, vendor management and accountability, and escalation of issues. You will manage and lead project teams, facilitate project meetings, and elicit requirements. ETF uses a hybrid (traditional and agile) project management framework. You will be responsible for developing and coordinating the project plan, timelines, and milestone completion efforts. You will have a high degree of autonomy coordinating vendors, multiple business units, and IT. In addition, you will also be expected to communicate with all levels of staff and management. You will work closely with the project sponsor and business representatives to ensure that the project meets the identified business requirements and goals. Project deliverables will provide our members with opportunities to interact with our organization in new, modern, and exciting ways. This position is in classification IS Business Automation Consultant/Admin (pay schedule/range 07-32), with an annual salary of $104827 - $127192, plus excellent benefits. Pay for current and new state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan in effect at the time of appointment. ETF offers hybrid remote/office work. If interested in hybrid remote/office work, this can be discussed in more detail during the interview process. The selected employee(s) must report to ETF’s office on the first day of employment. In addition, the employee may need to report to ETF on short notice as operational needs require. All employees are expected to be headquartered and work within the state of Wisconsin. ETF does not sponsor work visas. Any appointment made will be contingent on the applicant being able to prove valid status to work in the United States. A 12-month probationary period is required. Qualifications Minimally Qualified candidates will have experience in all of the following: Leading projects which involve a high level of complexity and impact (e.g., budget over $5 million, impacting cross-functional teams, multiple stakeholders with competing interests, etc.) Holding project teams accountable to meet commitments (e.g., establishing responsibilities, monitoring work, ensuring follow-through, etc.) Communicating with stakeholders of all levels (i.e., staff, management, and business partners, etc.) Highly Qualified candidates will also have experience with the following: Managing four or more intersecting projects with multiple sponsors, stakeholders, and business areas Anticipating project risks and developing contingency plans or response strategies ETF is an Equal Opportunity and Affluent Action employer seeking a diverse and talented workforce.
