Forklift Operator

Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time 1st (7am-3pm), 2nd (3pm-11pm), 3rd (11pm-7am) Physical Location: Atlanta Container (Forest Park, GA) The Job You Will Perform: Follow all safety rules and maintain clean, organized workspaces, trailers, and storage areas. Read and interpret factory work orders and shipping/receiving documents. Accurately complete tally sheets, maintain organized paperwork, and generate bills of lading. Monitor conveyor lines, remove units, and load them into trailers or storage. Verify load tags and unit counts and inspect units for damage and secure strapping. Deliver sheets and in-process units to production areas. Perform receiving duties and maintain accurate inventory records. Stretch wrap specified units and ensure trailers are clean and ready for product loading. Perform other duties as assigned to support shipping, receiving, and production operations. Applicants must be willing to work alternate shifts, weekends, and daily overtime as required. The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring: A high school diploma (or GED) is required. One to two years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is required. Experience in the corrugated or converting industry is preferred but not required.
