As a Marketing Specialist at High Point Federal Credit Union, you will lead the monitoring and management of social media channels, website content, and digital campaigns to support credit union initiatives. You will also assist with the coordination, execution, and placement of marketing campaigns across a variety of channels. In addition, this position will help develop and promote community outreach events and financial literacy initiatives that strengthen our connection with the communities we serve.

Under the direction of the Marketing Manager:

Your purpose:

• Ensure social media programs are operating efficiently, effectively and driving the desired results.
• Maintain primary responsibility for credit union website content and updates.
• Coordinate event planning including youth and adult strategic financial literacy initiatives, member appreciation events, movie nights, and annual car sale.
• Proactively monitor social media channels and respond positively to member and non-member conversations.
• Works with vendors to ensure maximum exposure for advertising and promotional campaigns.
• Accurately performs daily activities to support the Marketing department.
• Stay current on the AI tools and capabilities most relevant to the role and bring practical recommendations to the team on where AI can improve speed or quality of output

We are looking for:

• Associates degree in marketing, communications, or design, and/ or a combination of 2-3 years’ work experience with marketing / communication concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
• Proficiency with social media platforms and WordPress preferred.

Schedule / Location:

• 38 hrs-40 per week, Monday through Friday. Will require periodic nights / weekends based on member events.
• This is a hybrid position with a possibility of being remote 1 day per week, once familiar with job responsibilities and systems.
• This position is onsite located in Olean, NY. Local travel is necessary based on business need.

The expected pay range for this position is $19-$25 per hour. The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law. This salary range only reflects base wages and does not include benefits or other types of compensation. Salary bands are purposefully wide ranging to encompass the different factors considered in determining where a candidate falls in the range, including but not limited to, seniority, performance, experience, education, and any other legitimate, non-discriminatory factor permitted by law.
