Job Number: 180344, Job Title: Registered Nurse II PRN - Interventional Radiology - LBJ, Salary: $41.82 - $52.55 Job Summary The Nurse Clinician II (NCII) has the knowledge and skills necessary to meet standards for professional practice specified in the Texas Nursing Practice Act and by Health Care Human Resources (HCHD) Nursing Service. The NCII independently and safely manages patients with problems common to patients in their assigned clinical area; recognizes when assistance is needed and seeks appropriate resources. Minimum Qualifications Degrees: Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; Diploma in Nursing from an accredited school of Nursing. Licensure/Certification: Registered Nurse licensed to practice nursing in Texas; Basic Life Support from an American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross approved program; other certificates as required by unit/service. Work Experience: One (1) year full‑time RN experience or completion of a Graduate Nursing (GN) Program. Language Skills: Bilingual skills preferred. Communication Skills: Above average verbal (heavy public contact); exceptional verbal (e.g., public speaking); writing/composing (correspondence, reports). Proficiency: PC skills.
