Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Based in Tuscaloosa, AL, join HMD’s OTR solo dry-van fleet moving freight nationwide. You’ll operate company-assigned equipment while working with a safety-first team and dependable maintenance resources.

Core duties:

• Operate dry van tractors across long-haul and regional lanes, complying with DOT and HOS regulations.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections, keep accurate logs, and ensure cargo protection.
• Communicate with dispatch to manage routing and delivery schedules.

Requirements & highlights:

• CDL-A license and a minimum of 12 months verifiable experience.
• Compensation starts at 65 CPM with average weekly miles around 2,500 plus safety, inspection and referral bonuses.
