Experienced Paralegal – Legal Experience Required

Waterford Area, CT | Temporary – Approximately 6 Weeks | $23.80/Hour

A.R. Mazzotta is seeking an experienced Paralegal for a temporary assignment of approximately six weeks in the Waterford area. This position requires prior hands-on paralegal experience and a solid understanding of legal processes and terminology.

The successful candidate for this Paralegal role will have experience handling legal documents, maintaining case files, and providing direct support in a legal environment.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $23.80 per hour
Assignment : Approximately 6 weeks

Qualifications

• Previous professional paralegal experience is required
• Recent experience working in a law firm, legal department, or other legal environment
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology, documents, procedures, and file management
• Experience preparing, reviewing, organizing, and maintaining legal documents
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard legal office technology
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Provide direct paralegal support to attorneys and legal staff
• Prepare, organize, and maintain legal documents and case files
• Review documents for completeness and accuracy
• Assist with legal correspondence and case-related documentation
• Conduct legal research and gather information as needed
• Maintain organized and confidential records
• Provide general support with day-to-day legal matters
