Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital. This role involves providing comprehensive care to obstetric patients, including high-risk cases, in a fast-paced L&D environment with 200–300 births per month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in Labor & Delivery, including high-risk antepartum and intrapartum patients
• Perform triage assessments for obstetrical patients
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and emergency situations
• Circulate and recover C-sections
• Conduct sterile vaginal exams
• Manage and monitor intrauterine pressure catheters (IUPC) including placement and calibration
• Administer medications including:
  • Magnesium sulfate therapy
  • Insulin drips
  • Anticoagulants
  • Antihypertensives
• Maintain and manage central lines (PICC/CVC)
• Ensure adherence to infection control and isolation protocols (PPE)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a teaching hospital setting

Minimum Qualifications Experience: Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience First-time travelers accepted Required Certifications: BLS ACLS NRP EFM AWHONN Intermediate FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring) EMR Experience: Required (Epic preferred, any EMR accepted)
