About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Asset Management with a focus on hotel assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating hotel asset performance and executing business plans to maximize asset value. This includes advising on revenue maximization, operational efficiencies, and physical asset maintenance. The role also involves advocating the company's best interests with third-party hotel management teams, as well as evaluating asset performance for potential acquisition and disposition. The Assistant Vice President will be a key leader, presenting complex financial information, and will be expected to have a strong analytical and strategic approach, with excellent communication skills. Applicants should have a minimum of 7 years' relevant experience in asset management, hotel operations, or equivalent, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. The position requires a candidate with a Bachelor's degree, exceptional Excel skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment. Responsibilities include managing a team, providing operational oversight, developing financial models, and collaborating with various departments. The role demands a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to interact with executive-level leadership. The Assistant Vice President will also be involved in special projects and must be prepared to work extra hours as needed.
