Mechanical Engineer

Salary range: $92k/yr- $151k/yr + benefits Description The ideal candidate will have approximately 5 to 15 years of experience in design of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, including fire alarm Primary Duties Support the design of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, including fire alarm systems, for commercial, industrial, and educational projec Perform and review mechanical calculations, equipment selections, and system layou Oversee hydronic (chilled and hot water) piping design, ductwork, and mechanical equipment sizing Develop and manage project schedules, deliverables, and client expectations Ensure quality and accuracy of construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and calculations Coordinate with cross-discipline teams, architects, and clientts Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers, providing technical oversight and career development support Perform site visits and field surveys when requir Assist in proposal development and contribute to department growth initiative Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline requir ed.PE license required or the ability to pursue o Ability to clarify and concisely express thoughts verbally and in written correspondence/reports/specificatio Provides effort and takes pride in all work assignments produc Not afraid to ask for guidance/assistance in order to expedite the date of assignment deliverabl Ability to simultaneously work on group and individual assignmen Must have effective communication, management and writing skil Must be skilled in the use of Word/Excel produc #J-18808-Ljbffr
