X-Ray Tech - Radiology / Cardiology

Location: Portland, OR

Shift: Day Shift | 4x10 Hours (10:00 AM - 8:30 PM)

Schedule: Tuesday - Friday

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Tech for a travel assignment in Portland, Oregon. This opportunity is ideal for candidates looking to work in a highly respected acute care teaching hospital with a supportive clinical environment and advanced imaging technology. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to physician orders
Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently
Ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort
Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain procedures clearly
Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff
Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
Maintain imaging equipment and report technical issues as needed

Requirements

Recent experience as an X-Ray Technologist required
Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and patient care
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Epic charting experience preferred
First-time travelers accepted
