Barista

Full-time Barista at Rosetta's Coffee Shop

Meriwether Godsey is looking for a full-time barista at Rosetta's Coffee Shop, responsible for providing our guests with the finest drink service and attentive, gracious service at Hollins University.

Pay rate: $16 Per Hour

Must be available to work as follows: Monday-Friday, mornings/afternoons with some weekends for catering events.

What you will do:

• Make and serve specialty coffee, tea, and additional hot/cold beverages
• Greet and interact with customers while displaying a positive and friendly attitude
• Adhere to recipes and presentations for food and beverage items
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation, including, but not limited to, sweeping and mopping floors of café and server, emptying trash cans, cleaning grinders, etc.
• Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
• Sell and serve baked goods and miscellaneous food items
• Maintain stock of café inventory

What you need:

• Prior barista/café experience (2 years preferred)
• Point of sale (POS) experience preferred
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent communication and good organizational skills
• Flexibility: ability to switch between locations and job duties
• High school diploma or equivalent
