Key Responsibilities

• Deliver age-specific, direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process
• Provide nursing care in accordance with established Standards of Patient Care and Specialty-Specific Standards
• Assume leadership responsibilities, including delegation of work to other levels of staff
• Ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current TNCC certification
• Current PALS or ENPC certification
• Current NRP certification and de-escalation training required; any certifications not active prior to start date must have a renewal plan in place

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an emergency department setting
• Familiarity with specialty-specific nursing standards and protocols
