This role involves providing patient care in a 12-bed medical-surgical ICU setting with ratios of 2:1 for ICU patients and 3:1 for intermediate care unit patients. Candidates must bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment and meet the specified qualifications. Job Details Location: Fairfax, Virginia Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts; Night shifts (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.) and Day shifts (6 a.m. to 6 p.m.) Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), a minimum of 2 years of intensive care experience, and proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically EPIC. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in ICU settings, ability to float between units, and adherence to facility dress code (scrubs: navy blue pants and solid navy‑blue tops or solid white, jackets: solid navy blue or white). Schedule: Night and day shifts; 36 hours per week minimum. Typically 4 to 6 shifts in a 6-week period, including every other weekend.
