Embark on a rewarding contract assignment providing essential care to a medically fragile student in a supportive school setting. This opportunity allows you to make a meaningful difference while working 1:1 with a wheelchair-bound student whose needs require compassion, skill, and attentiveness. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current, active RN license in Georgia is required
• Experience in school nursing or similar pediatric roles preferred
• Proficiency in caring for medically fragile students, including catheter changes, feeding tube management, and oxygen administration
• Ability to safely assist with lifting and transferring students when needed
• Familiarity with spina bifida, hydrocephalus, head shunt care, and hip dislocation protocols is a strong asset
• Commitment to reliable, compassionate care and collaboration with educational staff
• Flexibility to adapt hours based on the student's schedule and attendance
• Willingness and availability for an in-person interview (only face-to-face applicants will be considered for this role)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver dedicated, continuous 1:1 nursing care for a student from now through May 2026
• Perform complex medical tasks, such as catheter changes every three hours, tube feeding, and oxygen monitoring
• Monitor and address acute changes in condition, communicating proactively with staff and family
• Maintain clear documentation and uphold best practices in student health and safety

You'll be onsite and working consistent hours up to 37.5 per week during the school year, though flexibility is essential due to student attendance variability.
