Collaborates with program managers and senior leadership to translate strategic plans and operational requirements into executable budget requests, addressing cost-benefit analysis and resource trade-offs.Designs and implements new analytical techniques and reporting structures to improve the accuracy and utility of financial information provided to decision-makers.Plans, organizes, directs, and reviews the work of subordinate budget analysts, ensuring timely and quality accomplishment of assignments. Provides technical guidance, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to staff. Sets performance standards, conducts performance appraisals, and handles disciplinary actions, grievances, and awards for assigned personnel. Manages the Budget Office workload, distributing assignments, balancing resources, and ensuring the development and implementation of sound budget policies and procedures.
