Travel Physical Therapist-Templeton, CA

Location: Templeton, CA

Setting: Acute/Rehab

Assignment Length: 13 weeks, with option to extend

Shift: 8-hour shift

Schedule: Day shift; 5 x 8s

Travel Pay: $3,140.74 - $3,489.72 weekly

Job Summary

Evaluate and treat patients requiring physical therapy services in a healthcare rehabilitation setting. Develop individualized plans of care, provide therapeutic interventions, educate patients and caregivers, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to improve mobility, function, and safety.

Job Qualifications

· Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.

· Current California Physical Therapist license required.

· Current BLS/CPR certification as required by the assignment.

· Recent physical therapy experience appropriate to the assigned setting.

· Strong assessment, treatment planning, documentation, communication, and patient-care skills.

· Ability to work the listed shift and schedule.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform physical therapy evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans and functional goals.

· Provide therapeutic exercise, mobility training, functional activities, and other appropriate interventions.

· Monitor patient response to treatment and modify the plan of care as needed.

· Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding exercises, safety, mobility, and continued care.

· Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
