Role Description The Hearing Aid Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Lakeland, FL. This role includes performing hearing evaluations, assisting with audiometry testing, and supporting audiologists in the assessment and fitting of hearing aids. The specialist will provide counseling and education to patients and families on hearing aid use, care, and maintenance, ensuring clear communication and a supportive experience. Daily responsibilities also include troubleshooting and adjusting devices, maintaining accurate patient records, and coordinating follow-up appointments. The role requires close collaboration with clinical and administrative staff to deliver consistent, high-quality care aligned with the Center’s mission. Qualifications Strong foundation in clinical hearing care, including Audiology and Audiometry skills. Experience conducting and interpreting Hearing Tests with attention to accuracy and patient safety. Demonstrated ability to support patients with Speech and communication needs in a clinical setting. Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, empathetically, and professionally. Relevant certification or licensure as a Hearing Aid Specialist or equivalent, in accordance with Florida regulations. Prior experience in a hearing clinic, ENT practice, or similar healthcare environment is preferred. Strong organizational skills, reliability in documentation, and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Basic computer proficiency for electronic health records and hearing aid programming software. #J-18808-Ljbffr
