Quick Facts Location: Lemoore, California Start Date: 07/01/2026 Duration: Ongoing based on assignment Shift: Monday - Friday, shifts between 7:30 am - 6:00 pm (8.5 hours/day) Hours/Week: 40-42.5 Employment Type: Independent Contractor / W2 Package available upon request Licenses/Certs: MD or DO, active unrestricted license, BLS, ACLS, PALS Experience: Minimum 3 years in Family Practice within the past 5 years Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $180.00/hour Pay Schedule: Weekly via direct deposit Benefits: Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), paid sick leave, licensure/certification, travel/reimbursement, and other expenses as applicable Additional Perks: Robust referral bonus program, malpractice coverage, 24/7 dedicated support team What You'll Do Provide comprehensive primary care services across diverse patient populations, neonatal to geriatric Conduct physical exams, preventive care, health assessments, and manage urgent and non-urgent conditions Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and coordinate referrals Document all care accurately in electronic health records Educate patients on health maintenance, positive behaviors, and self-care Support unit-specific protocols, including physical readiness assessments and duty modifications Respond to medical emergencies in the clinic and coordinate emergent patient transportation when needed Collaborate with medical staff and participate in educational activities What You Need Required: MD or DO degree Active, unrestricted license in any U.S. state Minimum 3 years experience in Family Practice within the last 5 years Board eligibility (certification preferred) by ABFP, ABIM, or equivalent BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Ability to pass a government background check and obtain security clearance Preferred: Experience working with military or DoD settings Familiarity with electronic health records systems About the Assignment This opportunity involves providing primary care to military personnel at Naval Health Clinic Lemoore, a vital facility committed to delivering high-quality healthcare.
