We need a highly experienced, hands-on Lead Automotive Technician who loves solving challenging problems, takes pride in quality work, and finds satisfaction in teaching others the why behind the repair.

$90,000-$150,000+ annual earning potential

As our Lead Automotive Technician / Mentor, you'll remain a productive, hands-on technician while helping improve the technical capabilities of the team.

You'll have the opportunity to:
Diagnose and repair complex electrical, drivability, engine, and mechanical problems
Guide technicians through diagnostic processes instead of simply providing answers
Share your knowledge of testing procedures, scan tools, and modern vehicle systems
Help developing technicians build confidence, accuracy, and efficiency
Promote quality workmanship, accountability, and consistent repair practices
Lead by example through your professionalism, work ethic, and integrity

Our Arizona shops have an established customer base and consistent repair demand. We invest in marketing, customer retention, Service Advisor training, and organized workflow because technicians can't be productive without vehicles in their bays.

Our technicians consistently average 180–200 flagged hours per month.

We also recognize that helping another technician learn takes time. That's why this role includes opportunities for additional mentorship compensation, rewarding the impact you make beyond your own production.

THE EXPERIENCE AND CHARACTER WE VALUE

We're looking for someone with:
15+ years of professional automotive repair experience preferred; exceptional candidates considered
Advanced diagnostic, electrical, and drivability troubleshooting skills
Strong mechanical repair experience across major vehicle systems
Experience with scan tools, diagnostic testing, and modern automotive technology
Broad domestic and import repair experience preferred
ASE Master certification or equivalent advanced experience preferred
Previous mentoring, Shop Foreman, or Lead Technician experience a plus
Proven productivity and high-quality workmanship
Patience, clear communication, and a willingness to teach
Professional tools, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record
Just as important as what you know is how you treat the people around you.
