Delivery Specialist

Pay and Benefits Compensation Pay Range: $18.82 - $25.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and premiums that may be paid in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Job Responsibilities Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers safely and efficiently. Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, complete daily vehicle inspections, and other related tasks. Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of delivery vehicles; perform daily inspections before operating. Secure keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, devices, and collected monies at all times. Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and fill out driver return slip. Communicate any problems or special needs from customers to store management. Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to store manager immediately. Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure vehicle at end of day. Clock in/out according to company policy. Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking and straightening stock, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, and assisting customers or serving as a cashier when business dictates. Qualifications Required Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations. Clean driving record meets the company’s 14/18‑point system. Legally required state driver’s license and meet company mandated eligibility requirements. Desired Familiarity with automotive parts. Ability to operate light store equipment. Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
