Substitute Bus Driver
St. Edward-Epiphany Catholic School in Chesterfield, VA is seeking a substitute bus driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for students on an as-needed basis, including daily routes and school-sponsored field trips.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Report on time for assigned morning/afternoon bus routes when scheduled.
- Operate the school bus in a safe manner, following established routes and schedules.
- Maintain a safe driving record and comply with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations. Keep certification and licensure current at all times.
- Notify the Principal promptly of any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Ensure the bus is properly fueled as needed.
- Promote and maintain appropriate student conduct while on the bus.
- Report student behavior concerns immediately to the Principal.
- Adhere to all policies outlined in the Diocesan Employment Policies Handbook and the St. Edward-Epiphany Catholic School Handbook.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements, or ability to obtain.
- Clean driving record.
