Material Handler – Aerospace Manufacturing

Ronkonkoma, NY | Temp-to-Hire | 1st Shift

Pay Rate: $20.00–$22.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse or manufacturing material-handling experience who is comfortable working with computers, handling materials, and supporting accurate inventory and receiving operations. What You'll Do

• Pick and move materials throughout the manufacturing and warehouse areas.

• Support receiving operations , including verifying and organizing incoming materials.

• Perform cycle counts and inventory checks to maintain accurate material records.

• Enter and update material and inventory information using computer systems.

• Organize materials and ensure items are stored in the appropriate locations.

• Support production teams by ensuring materials are available when needed.

• Maintain accurate inventory and material documentation.

• Follow established quality, safety, and security procedures.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

• Work closely with warehouse, manufacturing, and other support teams to keep operations running efficiently.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing material-handling or warehouse environment preferred.

• Previous experience with material picking and receiving .

• Comfortable using computers for inventory, data entry, and daily work activities.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently while also being an effective team member.

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Nice to Have

• Previous aerospace manufacturing experience .

• Experience with Microsoft Excel .

• Experience working with manufacturing inventory or material-control systems.

• Familiarity with cycle counting and inventory accuracy processes

• Forklift Experience

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
