What You'll Do

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments through clinical interviews and review of available records
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on inmate needs and functioning levels
• Provide mental health counseling, crisis interventions, and supportive activities to inmates
• Document all treatment, evaluations, and interventions accurately in health records while maintaining strict confidentiality
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychological counseling techniques and apply appropriate treatment approaches
• Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure quality inmate mental health services
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and confidentiality standards

What You Need

• Valid driver's license and Social Security Card for facility clearance
• Relevant mental health licensure or certification preferred, but not mandatory
• Experience in mental health counseling, assessments, or crisis interventions is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
