You will contribute to building high-quality products by performing precise and consistent welds in a busy fabrication environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding on parts and assemblies, following established specifications and quality standards.
• Set up, operate, and adjust welding equipment to ensure accurate, consistent, and structurally sound welds.
• Inspect welds visually and with basic tools to confirm alignment, strength, and overall quality, and rework as needed.
• Read and follow basic work instructions, job travelers, or production guidelines related to welding tasks.
• Work collaboratively with a team of welders to meet daily production goals and maintain steady workflow.
• Assist at other workstations when needed, including tasks such as picking up trash, loading trucks, cleaning work areas, and servicing equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety procedures and using appropriate protective equipment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and teammates about any issues affecting quality, safety, or production.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of KANSAS CITY, MO.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
