• Hours: 1AM-11AM (10 hour shift)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative Baker / Pastry Chef to join our team at Paris Baguette in Mansfield, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and pastry arts, along with the skills and expertise to produce a wide range of delightful treats. From classic croissants to intricate cakes, this individual will play a pivotal role in upholding our standards of excellence and delighting customers with each bite.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, and desserts according to Paris Baguette's established recipes and standards.
• Exhibit creativity and innovation in recipe development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and trending flavors to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
• Ensure consistency and quality in all baked goods, paying meticulous attention to flavor, texture, and presentation.
• Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized workspace at all times.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop menu offerings, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.Train and mentor junior bakers and kitchen staff, sharing expertise in baking techniques, recipe execution, and product presentation.
• Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to meet production demands while minimizing waste.
• Assist with special orders and custom requests, ensuring accurate fulfillment and exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and techniques through ongoing training, research, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a baker or pastry chef in a professional bakery or kitchen environment, with a strong foundation in baking techniques and pastry arts.
• Creative flair and a passion for exploring new flavors, textures, and presentations to create memorable desserts.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing consistently high-quality baked goods.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, with certification in food handling and safety preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
