Job Description Job Description AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN Full-Time | On-Site Starting at $23/hr — Performance bonuses available ───────────────────────────────────────────── ABOUT THE ROLE We're a well equipped, high volume shop that runs clean and treats its techs right. You know your way around a vehicle and don't need someone walking you through a brake job or oil service, but you're not expected to tackle every major job solo on day one. This is a solid mid level seat with real room to grow toward higher pay and responsibilities as you demonstrate your skill set. ───────────────────────────────────────────── CORE RESPONSIBILITIES - Perform and document routine maintenance: oil services, flushes, filters, belts, and scheduled intervals per manufacturer spec - Diagnose and repair brakes, suspension, steering, and wheel bearing assemblies with minimal supervision - Conduct basic to intermediate electrical and scan tool diagnostics; interpret DTCs and live data streams - Complete tire services and TPMS resets accurately and efficiently - Inspect vehicles using the shop inspection process and communicate findings to service advisors clearly - Perform heating, cooling system, and A/C work including component replacement - Handle engine accessory repairs: alternators, starters, water pumps, power steering components - Perform minor engine repairs including gaskets, seals, valve covers, and related components - Maintain a clean, organized bay and follow shop safety protocols at all times ───────────────────────────────────────────── WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Requirements: - 2+ years of hands-on shop experience - Proficient with professional scan tools (Snap-on, Autel, or equivalent) - Valid driver's license with a clean record - Own a solid set of hand tools suitable for general service and repair work Preferred (not required): - ASE certification or active testing - Experience with domestic, Asian, and European makes - Familiarity with OEM service information systems - Prior flat-rate shop experience ───────────────────────────────────────────── VEHICLES WE SERVICE Domestic (Ford, GM, Stellantis) | Japanese (Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Nissan) | Korean (Hyundai, Kia) | European (BMW, Audi, VW, Mercedes) | Light Trucks & SUVs | Hybrids ─────────────────────────────────────────────
