Senior Data Engineer Chicago, IL (Hybrid - 3 days onsite) I'm working on a really strong opportunity for a Senior Data Engineer to join a high-impact marketing data team driving how organizations measure performance across media, digital, and customer channels. This is a hands‑on role where you'll own the buildout and optimization of data pipelines and models that directly influence marketing investment decisions and consumer insights. What you'll be doing: Designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines across multiple marketing data sources Building out data models tied to media spend, engagement, conversion, and digital behavior Writing complex SQL transformations for reporting and analytics use cases Working closely with marketing, analytics, and data science teams to translate business needs into data solutions Leveraging Databricks and Informatica to automate and optimize ETL workflows Ensuring data quality, governance, and performance across the pipeline What they're looking for: 4+ years of data engineering experience in an enterprise environment Strong SQL skills (this is core) Experience with Snowflake and Databricks Hands‑on ETL experience, ideally with Informatica Python or PySpark for data processing Background supporting marketing analytics, digital analytics, or media measurement is a big plus If you're someone who enjoys building data systems that actually get used by the business and want more ownership over end‑to‑end pipelines, this is a great one.
