The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System values its physicians and provides a comprehensive total rewards package. Here s what you can expect:
- Work Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Education Debt Reduction : Eligible for student loan repayment over five years, plus additional education loan repayment possibilities.
- Recruitment Incentive : Sign-on bonus authorized.
- Competitive Salary and Bonuses : Pay: Range $350,000-$390,000 per year. Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases.
- Generous Paid Time Off : Enjoy 50-55 days of annual leave, including 26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, and 11 paid federal holidays.
- Retirement Benefits : Traditional federal pension with five years vesting and a federal 401K with contributions up to 5% from the VA.
- Insurance Options : Comprehensive federal health, vision, dental, term life, and long-term care insurances.
- Licensure and CME Benefits : One full and unrestricted license from any U.S. state or territory and possible reimbursement of $1,000 per year for continuing medical education (CME).
