Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Step Down/PCU night shift position requiring 18 months of Step Down/PCU experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Step Down/PCU nursing unit of a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or active compact state RN license in hand
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 18 months of Step Down/PCU nursing experience required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation, with up to 2 attempts allowed to pass
• PBDS assessment is waived for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months, with a 6-month break required before returning unless otherwise approved
