Travel accommodations for training will be booked and paid for by Amazon. The role requires open flexibility to work 10‑hour overnight shifts (late afternoon to early morning hours) on a front‑half (Sunday–Wednesday) or back‑half (Wednesday–Saturday) schedule. We are seeking motivated, customer‑focused individuals to join our team as an Area Manager. In this role, you will lead hourly employees, engaging them during shifts to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance, while ensuring customer orders are delivered on time and to the correct location. Our operation’s workflow has three major components: first mile, middle mile, and last mile. Rural Super Rural (RSR) is dedicated to ensuring customers receive deliveries and are satisfied with service, even in remote areas. Key Job Responsibilities Support, mentor, and motivate your team. Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises. Collaborate with support teams (Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention, Human Resources) to develop plans that meet business objectives. Lift up to 49pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and climb stairs. Work in environments with variable noise, temperatures, and weather (delivery stations, outside loading, refrigerated grocery locations). Maintain a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays. Bevorzugte Qualifikationen At least 2years of employee and performance management experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience. At least 1year of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience. Willingness to work a flexible schedule (weekends, nights, holidays). The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
