What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population, including infants to end-of-life patients
• Manage patients with varied acuity levels such as MedSurg, ICU, Stepdown, and trauma cases
• Perform ventilator management, critical care drips, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Assist with protocols like stroke interventions, conscious sedation, and trauma stabilization
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, RT, and charge nurses
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
• Document accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR system

What You Need

• Required:
  • RN license in Louisiana or eligible for multi-state licensure
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications
  • At least 2 years of ER experience in an acute care setting
  • Critical care skills including ventilator management and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Preferred:
  • Prior travel nursing experience
  • Experience with stroke protocols and trauma care
