About This Office

Dental Care at Palomar – Lexington, KY Brand New Office Opening Soon | Hiring 3 Hygienists

Schedule:

• 4-day workweek totaling approximately 34 hours per week

Two shift options available:

Monday–Thursday Schedule:

• Monday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Tuesday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
• Wednesday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
• Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm

Tuesday–Friday Schedule:

• Tuesday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
• Wednesday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
• Thursday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, patient-centered dental hygiene care, including preventive services, periodontal therapy, and patient education
• Build strong, trusting relationships with patients by delivering compassionate, high-quality care
• Perform thorough assessments, including periodontal charting and dental radiographs as prescribed
• Educate patients on oral health, hygiene techniques, and overall wellness
• Collaborate closely with the doctor and clinical team to ensure a smooth, efficient patient experience
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical notes in accordance with practice and regulatory standards
• Uphold infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols at all times
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture in a brand-new office environment

Qualifications

• Active (or soon-to-be) Kentucky Dental Hygiene license
• Open to new graduates as well as experienced dental hygienists
• Passion for providing exceptional patient care and creating positive dental experiences
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to grow alongside a new practice
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a brand-new, start-up office environment
• Commitment to professionalism, reliability, and continuous learning

About Dental Care at Palomar

Dental Care at Palomar is a brand new, state-of-the-art dental office opening soon in Lexington, Kentucky. Designed with both patients and team members in mind, our modern space will feature the latest dental technology, brand-new equipment, and thoughtfully designed operatories to support exceptional care and clinical excellence.

We are building our team from the ground up and are seeking three passionate dental hygienists who are excited to be part of something new. Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
