Outpatient Physical Therapist - 5x8 Schedule

Job Description

We are seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team on a 6-month contract. You will evaluate and treat patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and ensure effective return to community activities. This role aims to maintain high standards of patient care while adhering to the organization's mission and core values.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on patient needs and physician direction.
• Delegate and direct therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs are designed for effective community return.
• Maintain clear and timely medical documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
• Participate in student training programs as assigned, providing supervision and development of learning objectives.
• Actively pursue professional development through continuing education and involvement in professional organizations.
• Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain licensure in good standing.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.

Schedule

This position operates on a 5x8 schedule, with evaluations lasting 60 minutes and follow-ups every 30 minutes.
