Maintenance Electrician

Maintenance ElectricianThe Maintenance Electrician maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs production equipment in a high-volume food-processing environment. This role combines strong mechanical aptitude with solid electrical knowledge and experience working with automated systems to keep equipment operating safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.DutiesInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot 480V electrical systems in a food processing environment.Wire, repair, and install motors, pumps, conveyors, and production equipment.Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, relays, and sensors.Diagnose electrical and control system failures to minimize production downtime.Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial food processing equipment.Support equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects.Follow all safety, GMP, and food manufacturing regulations.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bakersfield, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
