Travel Registered Nurse Endoscopy Job

Registered Nurse – Endoscopy – Rochester, NY Overview This is a travel-temporary assignment starting on 08/03/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,607 to $2,770 per week. Shift is 8 hours. The position involves work in a hospital setting with on-call coverage evenings, overnights, and weekends as required. The role focuses on endoscopy procedures with an emphasis on sedation, patient monitoring, and post-procedure recovery. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,607–$2,770 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour days Start date: 08/03/2026 Travel assignment in hospital setting On-call coverage for overnights and weekends Responsibilities Answer patient questions and address concerns before and after procedures. Observe and record vital signs; monitor telemetry and rhythm identification. Administer conscious sedation and other medications as ordered. Sedate patients prior to procedures and assist during endoscopy with equipment and supplies. Recover patients after procedures and monitor recovery from anesthesia. Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies; sterilize and clean equipment per protocol. Provide support to physicians during procedures and document patient notes, discharge instructions, and relevant documentation. Perform GI procedure intake and coordinate patient care through discharge. Requirements Current New York RN license. BLS Certification (American Heart Association). ACLS Certification (American Heart Association). 2 years of endoscopy procedure experience. Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification experience. Proficiency in conscious sedation and IV insertion. Experience recovering patients from general anesthesia.
