Mover/PackerLocation: Pine BluffJob SummaryAs a Mover/Packer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our residential life programs by safely and efficiently moving, packing, and transporting various items and materials throughout our campus facilities. Your physical skills and attention to detail will be essential in helping us deliver a top-notch living experience for our students.Key Responsibilities- Safely lift, load, and unload a variety of items, including furniture, boxes, and equipment, using proper techniques and equipment like dollies- Pack and prepare items for transport or storage, ensuring secure and organized packing- Assist with the relocation and rearrangement of items within campus housing and facilities- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols- Collaborate with the residential life team to ensure a smooth and timely completion of moving and packing tasksQualifications- Demonstrated ability to lift and move heavy items, with a focus on proper lifting techniques- Experience using dollies and other material handling equipment- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as neededWorking ConditionsThis is a physically demanding role that may require frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of items weighing up to 50 pounds. You will be working in a variety of campus environments, including residential halls and storage facilities. Proper use of personal protective equipment, such as gloves and steel-toed boots, is required.Compensation and BenefitsThis is a temporary position offering a pay rate of $13 per hour.
