Mechanical AssemblerThe Mechanical Assembler builds mechanical equipment and machinery using detailed drawings and work instructions. This role involves installing hardware and pneumatic components, performing precise assembly work with hand and power tools, routing and securing wiring and cables, and inspecting completed assemblies to ensure quality and proper functionality.ResponsibilitiesAssemble mechanical equipment and machinery in accordance with drawings, pneumatic schematics, and written work instructions.Install hardware, brackets, fittings, air cylinders, and other pneumatic components accurately and securely.Perform detailed mechanical assembly work using a variety of hand and power tools.Route, organize, and secure wiring and cables to meet safety, performance, and quality standards.Read and interpret basic assembly drawings, blueprints, and pneumatic schematics to guide assembly tasks.Inspect completed assemblies to verify quality, proper operation, and adherence to specifications.Use wrenches, sockets, tape measures, and other standard hand tools to complete assembly tasks.Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area throughout the assembly process.Collaborate with team members and follow production processes to meet project timelines and output goals.Essential SkillsHands-on experience with mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment.Ability to read and interpret basic assembly drawings, blueprints, and pneumatic schematics.Proficient use of hand and power tools, including wrenches, sockets, and tape measures.Mechanical knowledge and understanding of mechanical components and assemblies.Familiarity with pneumatics, air cylinders, and related mechanical components.Ability to route and secure wiring and cables neatly and safely.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Ability to maintain an organized and clean work area.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with mechanical assembly in a production or manufacturing setting.Mechanical assembly, pneumatics, and mechanical components.Blueprint and schematic reading skills for mechanical and pneumatic systems.Comfort working with a variety of hand tools and power tools.Cable routing experience in mechanical or industrial applications.Why Work Here?You will join a small, established organization with decades of experience in its industry, offering the stability of a long-standing operation with the close-knit feel of a smaller team. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
