NCW is looking to add a skilled carpenters for a project in Westport, TN. In this role, it will be your job to help us with the installation, construction of metal and wood framing. Much of the work you do will involve wood, but you may also be tasked with working with other materials, such as steel and concrete.

What You Will Do

• Steel frame erecting and wood framing
• Drywall installation and finishing
• General construction labor

Experience & Skills

• Prior construction experience
• Solid understanding of residential construction fundamentals  or a proven ability to learn rapidly in a demanding environment
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Willingness to travel regularly within the service area 

Preferred (Not Required)

• Prior construction experience
• Familiarity with local building codes and inspection processes
• Experience working under a licensed General Contractor

Physical & Environmental Requirements

This is a  physically active, field-based role . Candidates must be able to:

• Walk active construction sites on uneven terrain
• Climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding
• Stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Travel by vehicle to multiple jobsites
• Use a mobile device or tablet to document work in real time
