Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with strong orthopedic and DaVinci robotic experience for a hospital operating room position.

Details

• Hospital operating room setting
• Cases span orthopedics, general surgery, neuro-spine, vascular, GYN, and urology
• DaVinci robotic surgery experience required
• Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
• 4x10-hour day shifts with no set day off, 0630-1700
• Floating within scope to other like units
• 5-6 call shifts per month required

Requirements

• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• License required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty required
• Minimum of 2 years of setting experience required
• Strong orthopedic surgery experience required
• Experience with general surgery, neuro-spine, vascular, GYN, and urology cases required
• DaVinci robotic surgery experience required
• 2 professional references from similar experience (1-2 years) required

Additional Information

• Assist surgical teams across a wide range of specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, neuro-spine, vascular, GYN, and urology
• Support robotic-assisted surgical procedures using the DaVinci system
• Maintain sterile fields and prepare instruments and equipment for surgical cases
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility with no exceptions
• RTO requests must be submitted for consideration

Hours per week: 40

Hours per shift: 10
