Make a meaningful impact supporting K-8 students at an Autism Center as a contracted School Psychologist. This flexible, part-time role involves 20 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours depending on program needs. Ideal for professionals seeking to contribute both on-site and virtually, you can be present for testing and evaluations once a week, and complete the remainder of your duties remotely.

What we’re looking for:

• Valid and current School Psychologist certification/licensure
• Prior experience with K-8 or elementary/middle school populations
• Familiarity with assessments, testing, and evaluations, especially for students on the autism spectrum
• Strong counseling skills
• Ability to establish rapport with students, families, and staff
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
• Comfortable adapting to a hybrid work arrangement (on-site and remote work required)

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations
• Deliver counseling services to students individually and in groups
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to create and monitor student progress plans
• Provide expertise in the development of IEPs and intervention strategies
• Document and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Support and educate staff regarding behavioral and learning challenges specific to students with autism
• Communicate findings and recommendations to families and team members clearly and compassionately
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive environment within the Autism Center
