Admin Support Specialist

The Administrative Support Associate serves as a key member of the department's administrative team and provides professional administrative support to faculty, staff, students, and visitors. This position is responsible for coordinating departmental administrative operations, supporting meetings and events, managing travel and expense processes, assisting with facilities coordination, and serving as a primary point of contact for departmental constituents. Working in a collaborative environment, the position ensures efficient day-to-day operations and contributes to a positive and professional experience for faculty, staff, students, and external visitors.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements - High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Management Preferences - Experience working in higher education or another complex service-oriented environment. Experience coordinating events, travel, or office operations. Familiarity with university administrative systems and processes. Demonstrated ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment. Strong organizational, customer service, and communication skills.
